We have three rental plans – Please make sure you indicate the correct plan. We may not be able to extend your plan if booked out. We also offer NDIS plans – please contact us on the contact page to enquiry about NDIS Options)

  • A booking deposit of $111 (non-refundable) is required prior to final confirmation (will be deducted from final invoice)

    We may require a returnable deposit as security.

  • Freight costs are standardized at $40 for each way of the journey. Freight services are exclusively provided through Australia Post. Upon receiving the equipment, you will find an extra-large Australia Post envelope enclosed within the NeurOptimal® case for the return. It is imperative that you provide a tracking code when returning the equipment to ensure its safe and timely delivery.

  • Your rental agreement commences on the day the system arrives either at your home or at the Australia Post facility for pickup. It is required to be returned on the day immediately following the expiration of the rental period, whether it's for 1, 2, or 3 months. For example, if you opt for a 1-month rental and the system arrives on the 21st of February 2023, the rental period will run from the 22nd of February 2023 to the 22nd of March 2023. Subsequently, it should be sent back on the 23rd of March 2023.

  • To ensure security, we require a photo of your driver's license along with your credit card details. This information can be provided over the phone once you have completed the lease agreement. Alternatively, you can opt to pay the deposit or in full through our online booking system. Rest assured that your information will be handled with the utmost confidentiality and security.

  • Please note that you may be added to a waiting list, but we'll provide you with an estimated date for receiving the NeurOptimal® system. If you've booked for a month, please understand that extensions may not be possible if the system is already reserved. However, if it's available, you'll have the option to extend your booking.

  • We exclusively accept payment through direct bank deposits or credit cards via a payment link. Once you confirm your rental, we will provide you with an invoice for your records. Please note that all rental costs are in Australian Dollars.

  • Under no circumstances can you sublease or share the costs of a rental (the only exception to sharing costs if it is with family member and this is in the rental agreement and agreed by 2BZEN INSTITUTE)

    If you intend to generate income by leasing one of our systems, the minimum rental period is 3 months, priced at $3500, which includes two large tubs of conductive paste.

    Each client you work with must sign a Consent for Training form.

    Additionally, prior to renting, we highly recommend that you complete the Basic Neuroptimal Certification, which equips you with the necessary knowledge and tools to work with clients. We will happily help you to book your training.

  • Please ensure that you connect the system to the internet for updates every 7 days to avoid the system's license from expiring prematurely, reducing your lease time. In case of technical issues such as sound or loading problems, which are typically quick fixes, it may be due to a Windows update. It's essential to contact 2BZEN INSTITUTE 0430125087 immediately for resolution to ensure uninterrupted training. Failure to report issues promptly, i.e., within 2 days, will result in no reimbursement of extra time.

  • When renting a NeurOptimal® system, you acknowledge that it is not a medical treatment, device, or methodology. It is not intended for diagnosing medical disorders or treating them. NeurOptimal® has not been approved for any medical purpose by the TGA or any other governing agency. It is solely a wellness tool, used for brain training and optimization, not for diagnosis or medical intervention. You understand that the response of your central nervous system to the information provided cannot be predicted, and therefore, there can be no guarantee of the outcomes of your training.

How much does the Neurofeedback equipment cost to rent?

This comprehensive shipping service includes both outbound and return shipments, ensuring your NeurOptimal® system reaches you safely and securely. Plus, with shipping insurance included, you can have peace of mind knowing your equipment is protected throughout the transit process.

How soon can I get my home rental?

Once we guarantee that a system is available and the contract has been signed and submitted, it typically takes 1-2 business days for shipment via AUSTRALIA POST, depending on your location.

Can I pick up the system in person?

Yes, pick up and drop off is available at our clinics in Brisbane and Gold Coast.

Does the paste have to be purchased separately?

No, the NeurOptimal® Neurofeedback Rental Package comes with all the materials necessary to run the training sessions. The only item you’d need are headphones in case you do not like the ones we provide (no Bluetooth allowed only regular headphones). Alternatively, listen to the sound from the tablet's speaker, which a lot of clients do with same benefits!

How long is a NeurOptimal session?

A standard NeurOptimal® session lasts for 33 minutes. However, it typically takes about 40 to 45 minutes in total, including the time required to add and remove the sensors before and after the session. While renting your own home system, you have the option to set up an extended session lasting 44 minutes. It's important to note that while this option exists, there is no data supporting the notion that a longer session is necessarily better. All research conducted by NeurOptimal® has been based on the standard session length of 33 minutes.

How many sessions should I do a week when I rent?

We typically recommend 2-3 sessions per week per trainee, although daily training is also an option. When you rent the system, we suggest a minimum of twice per week. This frequency is advised because during the training, the brain is essentially learning a new way of decision-making. Similar to learning a new language, practicing more frequently allows the brain to learn faster.

If I do 60 sessions in 30 days, will that have the same effect as 60 sessions over three months?

Indeed, training every day for a month can offer valuable insights into your brain. However, spreading those 60 sessions over three months yields additional benefits. It allows your behavior and thought patterns to adapt gradually, fostering more sustainable changes. For example, as the brain learns to move away from an anxious fight-or-flight pattern, it naturally spends less time in highly anxious situations. This gradual adaptation promotes long-lasting improvements in brain function and behavior.

What if one cannot perform all included sessions in one month?

The monthly fee remains the same regardless of how many sessions you complete. If you can't finish all sessions in the first month, you can extend the rental for another month and pay for an additional rental cycle, subject to availability. It's crucial to establish a schedule, similar to attending our in-clinic brain training sessions, and commit to it. We can assist you with this by checking in on you weekly or sending you daily reminders if needed.

How many home neurofeedback sessions should I run per week? 

We encourage consistent practice to maximize the benefits of neurofeedback training, recommending three to four home sessions per week for optimal results. However, daily training is also an option due to the non-invasive nature of neurofeedback. Regardless of frequency, regular practice facilitates the brain's ability to adapt and optimize its functioning over time, much like learning a new language through consistent practice.

What do I do if I have trouble with my equipment?

If you encounter any issues with your equipment, follow these steps for prompt resolution:

  1. Consult the printed manual provided with your rental for troubleshooting instructions.

  2. Ensure the system is connected to the internet for updates every seven days to prevent premature license expiration.

  3. Technical issues like sound or loading problems may be due to a Windows update.

  4. If issues persist, contact 2BZEN INSTITUTE at 0430125087 for immediate assistance. Failure to report issues promptly may result in no reimbursement of extra time.

  5. Read the printed Guidelines for equipment handling. A system reboot and checking all cords are plugged in can often resolve issues.

What is the minimum and maximum amount of time I can rent the NeurOptimal® Neurofeedback Trainer?

You can rent the NeurOptimal® Neurofeedback Trainer for a minimum of one month, with the option to extend it for as long as you wish. While clients have reported optimal results with rentals lasting two to three months, you have the flexibility to pay as you go and extend for another month or another three months after the initial rental period, subject to availability.

What if a sensor falls off during the session?

If a sensor falls off during your session, simply put it back into place and continue with your session. If the sensor has been off for more than two minutes, restart the session. If you're training with a small child, it's a good idea to periodically check the sensor placement during the session.

Why do I not need a brain mapping scan or EEG map when using NeurOptimal?

With NeurOptimal®, there's no need for brain mapping scans or EEG maps. Unlike protocol-based or linear neurofeedback systems, NeurOptimal® operates as a dynamical, non-linear system. This means it doesn't require brain mapping or the expertise of a neurofeedback specialist to receive the benefits of brain training!

You won't need an official medical diagnosis, extensive questionnaires, or costly brain mapping or QEEGs. At 2BZEN Institute, we do offer a questionnaire as part of an initial assessment for establishing a baseline, but it's not mandatory. Additionally, we provide Neuroptimal® tracking tools as a more informal way for you to monitor your progress.

3. Non-Invasive Approach: NeurOptimal® does not push the brain to achieve specific outcomes; instead, it simply offers information. The brain naturally responds to this information, making adjustments as needed. In contrast, other systems often employ a more directive approach, where the practitioner decides what the brain should do more or less of during the training process.

With over 22 years of experience as a registered physiotherapist specializing in chronic pain management, and as a Yoga teacher and Pranic Healer since 2017, I've cultivated a deep understanding of the intricate interplay between body, brain, mind & SOUL.

My journey began with a background in physiotherapy in 2002, but my quest for comprehensive healing led me to explore various modalities. Over the years, I became a certified yoga teacher, diving headfirst into the transformative power of movement and mindfulness. This was just the beginning. I then delved deeply into Pranic healing, a modality of energy healing that proved to be truly transformative. Through Pranic healing, I discovered the profound impact our energetic states have on our overall health and well-being.


However, it was my encounter with the ground-breaking field of neurofeedback that truly revolutionized my approach to holistic wellness. Inspired by research on neurofeedback's efficacy for epilepsy, trauma, and various mental health conditions, I embarked on a journey to explore its potential further. Initially hopeful yet skeptical, I decided to try neurofeedback as a solution for my daughter's drug-resistant epilepsy.

After just three months of training her brain, the results were not what we were expecting. Not only did it help manage her epilepsy, but it also significantly enhanced her ability to self-regulate, managing her anger outbursts in a completely different manner we had never seen before. Additionally, we noticed improvements in sensory processing, focus, and concentration.

Motivated by these transformative experiences, I dedicated myself to researching and understanding neurofeedback in-depth. After thorough evaluation, I chose the NeurOptimal® system for its unmatched effectiveness and accessibility.
